Director of Industry and Energy Sector

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for the position of Director of Industry and Energy Sector for one of our long-term clients. The person in this role will be responsible for managing and developing the industry and energy department, including strategic planning, project oversight, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Location: Warsaw
Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Creating and implementing long-term development strategies for the industry and energy sector in line with company goals.
• Project Oversight: Managing and monitoring the execution of energy projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Team Management: Leading a team of specialists and engineers, supporting their professional development, and motivating them to achieve high performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintaining and developing relationships with key business partners, government institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing innovative solutions.
• Budget Management: Planning and controlling the department39s budget, optimizing costs, and efficiently managing resources.
• Compliance Assurance: Overseeing compliance with regulations and standards in the energy sector and implementing best practices in safety and environmental protection.
• Reporting: Preparing reports and analyses for the management board, presenting results, and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education, preferred fields: energy, industrial engineering.
• Experience in managerial positions in the energy or industrial sector.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards in the energy sector.
• Strong ability to manage large and dispersed teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
