German-speaking Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist
About the Company: Our client is a leading global provider of smart energy solutions, specializing in innovative technologies for managing and optimizing power in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. They are dedicated to developing cutting-edge products that shape the future of energy management.
Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer and contractor inquiries via calls, emails, and chats, providing technical support for various products and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to solar PV systems, including optimizers, inverters, communication systems, EV chargers, and energy storage solutions.
• Collaborate with operations to authorize the release of parts needed to resolve customer issues.
• Update the knowledge base with new troubleshooting information discovered during customer interactions.
• Document all activities in the ticketing system and other software platforms.
• Utilize company-defined troubleshooting tools and participate in required training activities.
• Maintain technical knowledge through continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

• Ideally, 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support.
• Basic understanding of IP network technology.
• Experience with solar energy products or similar technologies is a plus.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in an international organization is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Business communication skills in English and German.
