Tasks:

• Manage cost-effective, fast and reliable inbound and outbound transportation, mainly by road (FTL, LTL, GRP, rolling materials), and some by sea, air and courier
• Main locations: Germany and Poland, as well as other European locations
• Coverage: domestic, European and global transportation
• Preparation and control of freight budget
• Establish and monitor freight-related KPIs
• Managing our freight forwarding booking program
• Acting as in-house customs expert, including checking and processing customs documentation
• Collaborate with the accounting department and accurately approve freight invoices

Requirements:

• Very good oral and written English language skills. Knowledge of German or other EU languages will be an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing transportation, freight forwarding and customs issues
• Ability to effectively plan and organize transportation, including experience in operating a company fleet will be an asset
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to work under time pressure and solve problems creatively
• Proactivity, resourcefulness and ability to work in a team
