Job Description
The primary purpose of the Network Engineer - Tooling Specialist is to
provide technical support on network tooling systems used for fault
management, performance management, capacity management, configuration
management. This support is provided to a large numbers of customers
all over the world ensuring that the service is being provided in line
with Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
Tooling Specialist position is placed in the Tooling& Voice Services
department, which is part of the Network Security & Communication
Services unit within Managed Operations.

Mandatory requirements
* English at least on upper-intermediate level
* Experience with maintaining and administering applications
* Experience of a client / server environment
* Knowledge of Operating Systems Unix/Linux or Windows on Advanced
User level ( user and group management, practical use of essential
commands, filesystem management, network management and file sharing
services)
* Knowledge of the protocols: TCP/IP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, AAA
* Ability to automate tasks - scripting (Perl/Python or bash)
* Ability to structure and draft technical documentation
Additional Advantages
* Knowledge or experience in CA Spectrum, CA eHealth, Nagios systems
* Knowledge or experience in VPN, RSA SecurID, VitalQIP, Microsoft
Visual Basic, application development, ,VMware
* Understanding of the processes based on ITIL
* Programming and use of programming languages PHP, CGI,SQL, XML
* Network knowledge on the CCNA level
* Second foreign language (French or German)
