For our client - a company from the transport industry, we are looking for: Team Leader of International Forwarding with at least one year of experience in a similar position to the branch in Hamburg.

Responsibilities:

• Searching for and acquiring contractors from Western Europe, mainly operating in Germany
• Building long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Planning and organization of international road transport
• Monitoring the implementation of services and ensuring high quality and timely execution of orders
• Optimization of forwarding costs
• Creating and monitoring the goals of your own team (up to 7 people)
• Participating in the recruitment of new forwarders to the team
• Introducing new employees to the company's environment and culture
• Maintaining team spirit

Expectations:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Predispositions and skills to lead a group
• Ability to set priorities and analytical thinking
• Responsibility, openness, independence
• Ability to make decisions quickly, work under time pressure
• Ability to look for improvements and solutions
• Knowledge of the specificity of the market and the rules and regulations in the field of transport and forwarding
• Efficient operation of transport platforms and exchanges
• Knowledge of English (minimum B2) – a necessary condition
• Predispositions and skills to lead a group
• Welcome: studies in logistics/transport and related fields
