As a Junior IT supporter, the main purpose of the internship position is to guarantee the proper hardware, software, connectivity, as well as the best professional technical support and handling of the IT documentation, asset inventory and end user guides, while making sure that the best practices are constantly updated and communicated and that the Global IT policies and security measures which are essential for conducting the activities pertinent to each sector that is driving progress in the construction industry are respected and allowed to deliver innovative and transformational solutions.

 

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues by responding to requests either in person or over the phone / chat;
• Assist with updating and maintaining IT documentation;
• Help to maintain and update IT inventory and end user guides;
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues along with network teams;
• Assist in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by the IT responsible leadership;
• Train end users on best practices;
• Work along the Cemex IT responsible and learn from him.

Wymagania stawiane pracownikowi:

• Knowledge of spoken and written English at least B2 level;
• Student status;
• Education in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science etc.;
• Documents required for application in English: Personal CV, personal letter of motivation;
• European Passport or ID (Swiss law requirement);
• Documents nice to have: professor’s letter of recommendation, validation of English fluency.
