The Accounts Payable Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight and escalation of accounts payable while performing operational tasks. Balancing a Team Lead role requires a hands-on approach, acting both as leader and an active participant in daily operations.

Your new role

Handle accounts payable tasks like invoice processing, payments, employee expenses, and reconciliation.
Manage daily operations within the Accounts Payable team.
Lead month-end and year-end closing for Accounts Payable.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with payroll agencies for salary payments and postings.
Review reports on costs, pending approvals, and failed payments.
Address accounts payable queries and collaborate with stakeholders.
Supervise and guide Accounts Payable Associates, providing training.
SME Role - optimize tools and processes
Work with Accounts Receivable, Finance Management, and Stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations, conducting regular audits.

What you39ll need to succeed

Educational background: Bachelor39s degree in finance or accounting.
Experience: +5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting and/or Finance Operations.
Fluent English, additional Scandinavian language or German as an added value.
Multinational, multi-site operations experience is beneficial.
Personal Competences: collaboration, adaptability, team player, reliability, problem-solver, initiative, continuous improvement.
