For our Client, an international Healthcare company, we are looking now for:
Tax Accountant
Position overview:
The Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to all statutory compliance in EU business for all legal entities based in Poland, Latvia and the UK. The position will also require seamless accounting operations and bookkeeping of the company, ensuring full compliance with all taxation rules and strong financial and internal controls.
Your responsibilities:

Ensure all operations and documentation in business follow correct Polish and EU VAT guidelines. Review the processes and documentation on a monthly basis to ensure compliance
Ensure all direct tax rules are implemented and followed, whether corporate tax, employee tax or any other sort of direct taxation. Proper calculations done and necessary financial accounting done on a monthly basis.
Ensure all necessary tax filings and other statutory reportings (e.g. Instrastat reporting, plastic tax or any new such reporting in future) are done to required government and tax authorities as per required timelines. Communicate regularly with all authorities
Ensure appropriate transfer pricing documents are maintained for all legal entities in the EU on an annual basis. Coordinate with Consultants
Manage entire payroll accounting and employee taxation for EU
All General and Administrative expense accounting.
All banking and treasury activities, payment accounting at SAP.
Monthly closing of books of accounts, participating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements to ensure a healthy balance sheet

Qualification & Experience:
·Masters/Bachelor39s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics· Minimum 5 years of experience in Direct and Indirect taxation, preferably in a Mid-size tax and audit accounting firm·Excellent time management skills·Excellent communication skills·Knowledge of Local Polish and EU tax laws both direct and indirect taxes·Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel·Professional attitude when working under pressure·Knowledge and experience of tax legislation and accounting standards·English knowledge skills
