For our client, an international company in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a Project Development Manager. The individual inthis role will be responsible for managing wind energy projects from thegreenfield phase through to the ready-to-build phase. The company’sheadquarters are located in Warsaw; however, the option to work from theWrocław office is also available.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and coordination of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, and BESS) at early stages, ensuring project feasibility through land and environmental analysis.
• Lead negotiations and contract management with clients, contractors, and third parties, while securing necessary permits and approvals for project execution.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, providing regular progress reports to senior management and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and complete.
• Identify and mitigate risks by maintaining a comprehensive risk register, delegating tasks to the right specialists, and monitoring project execution.
• Establish strong relationships with public authorities, landowners, contractors, and utility providers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Conduct financial and technological assessments, selecting the most optimal solutions, and ensuring smooth coordination among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Previous project management experience in renewable energy, with a solid understanding of the development process, permit acquisition, and relevant legislation.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage non-standard situations and effectively navigate complex challenges.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and strategic, with the ability to identify and seize opportunities.
• Proficiency in QGIS and strong analytical skills, capability of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex information, read and interpret technical documentation (drawings, diagrams, etc.), and respond effectively to emerging issues.
• Keen interest in technological innovation, with a commitment to continuous improvement, attention to detail, and a systematic approach.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
