Manufacturing Controlling Manager

Our client, a leading multinational manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Controlling Manager to join their dynamic finance team. This role is instrumental in providing financial oversight, driving process improvements, and delivering actionable insights to support key business decisions across the organisation.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute manufacturing cost variance analysis.
• Provide detailed material cost analysis and explanations.
• Supervise CO Close and ensure accurate Material Ledger settlement.
• Prepare and present Month-End Reports, including Actual vs. Forecast analysis.
• Manage the forecasting process, including the preparation of reporting decks.
• Collaborate with Plant Logistics & Purchasing, Production Planning, and departmental leads to align forecasts.
• Lead budget preparation for manufacturing costs, material costs, freight, duties, and price variances.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in finance, manufacturing, or related roles.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP is mandatory.
• Proven track record of successfully collaborating with key stakeholders, including Production, Planning, Quality, and Purchasing teams.
• Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts to senior management.
• Demonstrated experience with standard costing and quoting processes (essential).
• Advanced financial modelling skills are a significant advantage.
• Auditing or public accounting experience is desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting is a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of financial systems, particularly SAP and HFM.
