For our Client - the world39s leading provider of news and information-based tools to professionals, we are currently looking for a person interested in the position of an Application Support Analyst with Boomi. 

Your new role
This position is within a high-performing team of skilled application support specialists. Your role involves providing top-tier support for Commercial Engineering applications. You’ll handle day-to-day operations for the applications you support, collaborating with a global team to enhance our enterprise. Additionally, you’ll contribute to incident detection and resolution, change planning, and compliance management for a diverse portfolio of applications and infrastructure. 

You will be responsible for:

• Support applications built on modern architecture and cloud infrastructure, including technologies like Boomi, App Dynamics, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/JS, Node.js, TypeScript, jQuery, Docker, AWS, and Azure.
• Deliver reliable infrastructure and application operations aligned with business expectations across the application portfolio. 
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of ITIL processes related to incident management, problem management, and application lifecycle management.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in productivity, software quality, and reliability, including meeting or exceeding SLAs. 
• Collaborate with application development teams to ensure operational readiness for new applications and features.
• Monitor and analyse business operational and technical key metrics and regularly update documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Effectively articulate complex problems and solutions to diverse audiences. 
• Partner with security, data centre, and service governance teams to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and certifications.
• Contribute to departmental strategy and implement goals that align with the company’s core values.
• Participate in complex initiatives, such as large-scale upgrades.

What you39ll need to succeed

• 3+ Years of experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations.
• Experience in supporting applications built on modern application architecture and cloud infrastructure, Boomi, App Dynamics, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/JS, Node.JS, TypeScript, jQuery, Docker, AWS/Azure.
• Broad understanding of the technologies used to build and operate distributed application systems, including experience managing data centre systems/infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages.
• Thorough understanding of ITIL processes related to incident management, problem management, application life cycle management, operational health management.
• Fluent English skills min. B2.
• ITIL Certification will be added value.
