Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation and electrification—particularly related to port crane systems. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical expertise to our team, helping craft compelling proposals and solutions that meet client needs. You will be the bridge between our engineering department and clients, ensuring accurate, efficient, and technically sound project offerings.
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
• Advise clients on crane modernization options, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Ensure all technical specifications, project timelines, and resource requirements are accurately reflected.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions for prospective clients.
• Liaise with project engineers and design teams to translate customer requirements into feasible technical plans.
• Gather technical data to inform design, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
• Generate detailed sales and technical documentation, including solution overviews, drawings, and cost breakdowns.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, PLCs, MV (Medium Voltage) components, and drives (Siemens or ABB preferred).
• Knowledge of crane electrification and automation, including switchgear and transformer systems.
• Familiarity with TDT certification processes for Polish ports and awareness of international crane standards.
• Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Good command of English (C1 - Advanced)
