Senior Embedded Engineer with Kubernetes for Edge

Responsibilities:

• Formulate the strategy for edge computing, providing expert advice on design and architecture.
• Take crucial decisions regarding technical directions, system scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native solutions for edge computing environments.
• Establish and manage distributed Kubernetes clusters at the edge to support various applications and workloads.
• Develop and fine-tune orchestration mechanisms to ensure efficient resource utilization, high availability, and scalability.
• Put in place strong security measures to safeguard edge computing infrastructure and data.
• Optimize network configurations to ensure low-latency communication and high availability.
• Implement data protection mechanisms to secure critical data processed at the edge.

Leadership:

• Guide and motivate a team of engineers, provide direction, set objectives, and promote teamwork.
• Supervise project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage all stages of technical projects, from inception to completion.
• Develop project specifications, monitor progress, and control costs.
• Promote a positive work environment, encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing

.Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in Python and Golang programming.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies and architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux environments and Linux-based embedded systems.
• Expert understanding of edge computing frameworks and platforms like k8s, k3s, and KubeEdge.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in edge computing environments.
• Strong grasp of orchestration principles, high availability (HA), scalability, and best practices.
• Experience in implementing security solutions for edge computing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, particularly in edge computing scenarios.
• Experience with edge device management and integration.
