For our Client we are looking for experienced Global Project Manager (Payroll).
•Location: 100% remote work (you must be located in Poland)
•Contract type: B2B via Hays Poland
•Start date: 03/04.2025
• Rate: 170-220 pln/h net + vat
•Scope of duties: project management in the area of Payroll and HR (global cooperation)
Requirements:
•Minimum 10 years of experience in project management in operations, HR, payroll, transitions or transformations area
•Experience in managing large-scale international projects (global or EMEA)
•Experience in working with C-level business and stakeholder management in different time zones and locations
•Advanced knowledge of English - minimum C1 level
• Knowledge of payroll processes
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
•Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting abilities to complete tasks within required time frames and respond effectively under pressure.
•Intermediate level in common Microsoft applications functions.
•Must be able to overlap with EMEA & APAC hours as needed.
•Knowledge of platform integration, vendor, IT interlock critical.
•Ability to document/bring teams technical – business together for assessment and delivery.
•Knowledge of insurance industry is good to have (not mandatory).
•UAT/validation/test experience to drive structured stage gate validation exercises.
•Defining KPI and tracking adherence/validation of release to KPI measurements.
•Poland based/remote would support requirements. In the case of workshop meetings – may need to travel to the Chicago area.
Job Responsibilities:
•Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of payroll-related project management tasks across the APAC and EMEA regions.
•Develop and manage a continuous improvement roadmap to maximize technology use, centralize delivery models, and evaluate outsourcing opportunities.
•Create and monitor project plans for internal responsibilities and workstreams, ensuring alignment with vendor project plans through collaboration with support teams (Change/Comms, Finance, HRIT).
•Maintain and update the ongoing project plan, preparing status reports for workstreams.
•Work with cross-functional teams to communicate project updates to key stakeholders and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
•Organize and lead weekly Payroll Team meetings to review status updates, manage issue logs, and track risks and mitigation plans.
•Attend and present workstream status updates at monthly steering committee meetings.
•Participate in ad hoc project meetings as needed.
•Coordinate with vendors to schedule country-specific Payroll SME meetings for requirements and design discussions.
•Collaborate with internal teams to develop business cases and project financials, representing these in board meetings and following up on any suggested changes or amendments.
•Track progress on business case approvals and contracts to ensure project success.
•Serve as the single point of contact for any project-related updates within the remit.
•Maintain all payroll vendor contracts in the region, ensuring timely renewals.
•Track project financials and invoices according to contract schedules and project stage gates, aligning with global and local accounting practices.
•Demonstrate proven project management experience with a track record of managing complex global projects.
