Logistics Category Manager opportunity has become available in this successful global organisation that has a few offices in Poland. Working for a leading organisation, this role will be a part of a global procurement team and will have significant exposure across the business.
This is a highly responsible role that has an influence on major decisions made by Senior Management. The candidate will work in partnership with a senior management team providing specialist procurement and commercial advice. Within this role you will be responsible for managing the procurement activities with logistics service providers and transport of goods to around 40 locations in Europe. You will be responsible for creating the strategy within the Logistics category and implementing the strategy within European locations.
The successful candidate will have a few years of proven experience in a Purchasing role and will demonstrate purchasing/ procurement competence and successful negotiation skills within the logistics Category. Our client expects international experience of working with cross-functional teams, excellent communication, networking and influencing skills, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills, project management and performance measurement skills. Fluency in English is a must.
