Your new role/What you will do

Lead Engineering Excellence & Innovation
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to create reliable, secure, and scalable solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Make impactful technical decisions and clearly communicate the rationale to teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability by adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Collaborate & Deliver High-Impact Solutions
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leaders to define and execute technical strategies.
  • Identify and address potential issues during development, testing, or delivery stages.
  • Engage in discussions on application improvements, project initiatives, and feature design to drive continuous enhancements.
  • Develop reusable components and code to improve development efficiency and consistency.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery, ensuring features are released with high quality, reliability, and performance.

Mentor & Contribute to a High-Performance Team
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers to elevate the technical standards of the team.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Promote a culture of engineering excellence, advocating for best practices in performance optimization, observability, and CI/CD.
  • Contribute to agile development processes, enhancing team efficiency and delivery speed.


What you39ll need to succeed 

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend or full-stack applications.
  • Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and experience with relational databases like MySQL/Aurora.
  • Experience in building high-performance, scalable APIs using GraphQL and REST.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed computing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, particularly in HR Service Management (HRSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or Employee Service software.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React, TypeScript, or Apollo (for full-stack candidates).
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Prior experience with large-scale service catalog systems or automation platforms.
