Your new company

You will join a global IT consulting company that specialises in transformational management and technology. After joining the organisation, you will be supporting their clients from the banking industry, in particular in the cybersecurity area. Your expertise will help the client to build digital solutions that will allow customers to bank quickly, simply and securely.
In particular, you will be joining a team that operates business requestable services across a globally dispersed team, which supports other cybersecurity teams like Network Security, Cryptography and Endpoint Security.

Your new role

As Data Security SME your primary responsibilities will be:

Conducting required study of market reports and industry standards to identify toolsets that support Data Security strategy.
Attending governance forums to secure approvals to enable deployment of the identified toolsets.
Deploy and configure toolsets to mitigate Data Security Control issues by testing, implementing and monitoring system changes as per requirement.
Making suitable changes to ensure implementations are fine-tuned to deliver change objectives.
Working with Data Security analysts to build, test and deliver system changes, supporting documentation, analysis and consolidation of local control instances.
Analysis and articulation of test execution for data discovery and data protection toolsets
Providing key representation for and source of expertise on all issues.
Support the delivery of tooling to implement controls ensuring compliance with the bank data security policies and standards
Collaborate to drive the implementation of the enterprise wide and regional / business level IT Strategy.
Ensure information security requirements are adhered to globally by ensuring that effective compliance and measures are in place.
Drive engagement with all relevant regional and global stakeholders (cybersecurity colleagues across Strategy and Architecture, Security Shared Services, Security Engineering and business and IT Functions).

What you39ll need to succeed

Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar and/or commensurate demonstrated work experience in the same.
Being cross-skilled across DLP products (ideally at least 2 from Symantec DLP, McAfee CASB and MIP data classification products)
Demonstrable experience on Data at Rest Security (Running Classification Scans, File Labelling and remediation scenarios)
Experience on Management of policy and whitelist guidelines
Ability to build strong Stakeholder Management, to host/lead DLP governance meetings with stakeholders (including Audit)
A track record of making strategic business decisions, considering relevant risks, long term implications, commercial realities and stakeholders39 needs.
