Due to the development of our client, an international company in the Automotive / new technologies industry with an established market position, we are looking for people for the position of Supplier Development Engineer.

The Supplier Development Engineer plays a key role for actively supporting supplier search and conducting market research for commodities to address quality issues. It also focusses on improving collaboration with suppliers and regional teams using processes and tools, in close cooperation with the Global Commodity Lead Buyer.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive supplier escalations Q relevant on C supplier level with Regional Lead Buyer or Global Commodity Manager
• Drive supplier development program for QM systems and requirements
• Drive processes and tools for the SQE in PRE-Series
• Improvement of collaboration with suppliers and the regions with processes and tools closely with Global Commodity Lead Buyer
• Derive KPI39s for the Supplier Commodity Quality issues
• Responsible for set up QAA contracts for Commodities and negotiate with suppliers
• Identification of development potential at suppliers for quality
• Qualification of new suppliers and drive audits
• Create quality standards for the regions and implement them in QAA and take care that suppliers use
• Create industrialisation tools for SQE in the regions
• Control instance for the requirements of customers for quality and break down to supplier level, setting standards
• Starts supplier innovation days and awards for top supplier

We39re Looking for Someone With:
• Work experience more than 5 years in quality areas as a supplier quality developer in a manufacturing area of the automotive industry, respectively, working in a quality function at a Tier 1,2
• Experience in build up tools and processes, profound process know how is needed
• Auditor certificates (VDA, TISAX, Cybersecurity, IATF, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
• Ability to manage escalations with suppliers worldwide
• Intercultural experiences foremost with Asian suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills
• Fluent English, further languages are a plus

• Working hours: 9.00 - 17.00 or 8.00 - 16.00
