For our client we are currently looking for candidates for the position of:Front-end Software Engineer

Project:We are hiring into a team that assess and approves the usage of various models and AI technology.
Multiple tools to assess the risk of models are currently being used. In parts these tools are isolated and data exchange between them is either nonexistent or constrained. The project is set up to extend one of the tools in use (IRR) and integrate it with a bigger platform for pre-populating data and storing assessment results and data. At the same time, IRR should migrate functionality of an existing Excel workbook that has been used and developed separately. The processing and results of the Excel workbook logic should be integrated into IRR. As the current UI of IRR is perceived as providing limited user support, a UI / UX redesign of existing screens and information items is being done and will require some refactoring of the existing application together with the adoption of a React-based component library.
What will your duties be:

• Migrating user-facing application from Vue.js to the company’s standard component framework, based on React and UI/UX requirements
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries, using API-driven integration
• Optimising applications for performance
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows, especially for components that are being changed / refactored
• Integrating with backend system using OpenAPI specified interface

What we expect from you:

• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
• Strong expertise in the Vue.js and React framework, including core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
• Familiarity with the Vue.js and React ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 (including Sass or Less, depending on your technology stack)
• Good understanding of JavaScript-related test frameworks and tooling
• Familiarity with OpenAPI based integration

Nice to have:

• UX/UI
• Python
• Experience in the banking industry
