Your next job

• Analyse and understand product specifications and customer requirements
• Carry out the quality assessment of the product from design stage to serial production
• Identify and set quality assurance benchmarks by conducting market and competition analysis
• Develop a product quality improvement strategy
• Participate in D-FMEA preparation, supporting the definition of special characteristics
• Attend Technical Design Review meetings (TDR)
• Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are
• Provide cost estimation of validation tests (all except electronics)
• Track and analyse test results, providing recommendations for improvement
• Prepare and update technical documents such as quality control plans, suppliers39 standard guidelines, etc.
• Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes
• Prepare reports on malfunctions and lead the team in the definition of corrective actions
• Cooperate with all other departments in all production plants and ensure support till PPAP or SOP+90
• Cooperate with Customers and Suppliers
• Provide technical support for new business development activities
• Prepare and shares given project Lesson Learnt

What do you need to succeed?

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field
• English fluent mandatory, Czech/German languages nice to have
• High proficiency with MS Office tools
• Driving licence
• +5 Years work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar roles in the automotive lighting industry
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in Ostrava (Czech Republic)
