For our software development team we are looking for a
developer with strong experience in Front-end (web and
GUI) development.
The desired skills include:
- Professional project attitude
- Self-driven mind-set
- Customer-facing skills
- Extensive web and GUI design and development skills
- Excellent knowledge on current web standards: HTML/XHTML, CSS,
DOM, ECMAScript (Javascript/Action Script)
- Deep AJAX development experience
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (incl. both object model and
lambda programming) and related libraries (jQuery, Prototype, Dojo,
YUI, etc.)
- Experience with writing browser-independent applications
- Some graphics gift
- Up-to-date knowledge of trends and standards in web development
- conversational English,
The experience with the following technologies is a major plus:
- GUI prototyping experience
- SQL
- Basic Linux/UNIX skills (Shell Scripting, basic admin tasks)
- Basic Java/J2EE and/or MS.Net/C# experience
- version control systems (CVS, SVN, SourceSafe, etc.)
Other European language(s) skills are a major plus.
