***** Position description:

* Increase the utilization of current applications; reduce variation,
support technical standardization and seek the means to optimize
overall cost
* Own the inventory of applications and ensure the core criteria are
relevant and periodically updated
* Facilitate the inventory of C&W business capabilities; develop
fluency in the alignment of capabilities to functions to
applications
* Oversee intake of new requirements; vet ideas and look for
opportunities to extend our current application investments
* Create metrics to define application performance and deliver regular
reporting on these
* Initiate periodic application reviews to drive continuous
improvement and test the alignment of applications to the business
strategies that they support
* Develop a lifecycle management process for key applications,
including road map development and retirement planning
* Examine C&W supplier base and look for opportunities to scale or
consolidate
* Create community of business and technology owners to participate in
the portfolio management processes and increase ownership for
application landscape


***** Skills / knowledge / experience:

* At least 2 years of experience on similar position
* Education in computer Sciences or related field
* ITIL training, certification and working experience
* Experience in defining technology solutions, implementing
applications
* Experience in application rationalization and related efficiency
improvements
* Track record of coordinating service solutions with business
stakeholders
* Passion for building data sets, looking for trends or patterns and
developing insight based on the data
* A zeal for organization and structure
* Ability to build stakeholder participation, win trust and develop
partnerships in the business
* Capability to develop policy, create processes and author
methodology around services
* Fluency in application and technology platforms, services and
infrastructure
* Understanding of application delivery methodologies
* Keen sense of application cost models and experience in technology
budgeting and cost management
* Fluent Englosh skills
