***** The Key Responsibilities:

* Articulate target architectures and promote these as an applications
design/ build set of guidelines
* Review concept for new applications, participate in defining the
solution and alignment to business strategy
* Lead the design and modeling of technical architectures for new and
existing products
* Ensure that applications are designed for integration and sharing
data across the organization
* Participate in the lifecycle stages of implementation and the
subsequent transfer to operations and BAU management
* Review and resolve complex application issues
* Review and monitor overall portfolio performance metrics and devise
strategies to refine and increase maturity in the landscape
* Author and steward the technical policies and guidelines to ensure
alignment of technical activities to standards
* Promote the use of shared infrastructure and reduced footprints to
drive economy and consistency in the estate.


***** Skills / knowledge / experience:

* At least 2 years experiience on similar position
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* ITIL training or certification, or similar equivalent
* Project Management training or certification
* Confidence to ask probing questions and challenge conventional
wisdom
* Ability to quickly shape a point of view and promote this position
* Desire to steward the portfolio of applications and evolve the
estate
* Strong organizational skills and ability to visualize dependencies
and sequences
* Clear communication skills in written and verbal form
* Ability to partner and collaborate with various levels of
stakeholders
* Fluency in applications and infrastructure technical language
