Bitbuzz is Ireland's leading Wi-Fi network; we carry over half of
Ireland's public Wi-Fi traffic as well as having significant
operations in Northern Ireland. We have also recently expanded into
    the London hotel market.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically knowledgeable person to
join our support team. The role consists of providing telephone and
email support to Wi-Fi end-users on a variety of laptops and handheld
    devices.

You will need to be available for a combination of evening (6pm-10pm)
and weekend (11am-10pm) shifts (Irish time). These times may change in
the future. Work will be done remotely, from your location.

Training will take place in our offices in Dublin, Ireland, so you
will need to be available to travel here periodically.

Requirements (please do not apply unless you have ALL of these):

    * Excellent knowledge of Windows (XP/Vista/7), in particular internet
    settings
    * Experience in debugging internet connection issues (modem problems,
    internet settings or similar)
    * Fluent spoken English - you will be dealing with non-native English
    speakers so this is essential
    * Knowledge of networking and debugging TCP/IP issues
    * Excellent telephone manner
    * A genuine interest in technology

Desireable skills (you should have at least one of these; the more the
    better):
    * Working knowledge of Linux (user-level commands, network
    diagnostics, etc)
    * Knowledge of Mac OS X
    * Experience configuring or installing telecoms equipment (modems,
    routers, switches etc)
    * Experience in a technical support environment.

To apply, please send a CV in PDF or pain text ONLY to
t...@b...com and include "Support Engineer" in the subject
line. CVs sent in other formats will not be opened.
