For our Client- an international financial institution- we are currently
looking for: Senior Operations Engineer
Your overall goal is to provide professional 2nd line support (technical
operations) across Company's Structured Products applications business areas:
We offer:

Responsibilities to respond to offer support within a 12 person team also
including shift work
Key tasks in monitoring and maintaining smooth running of applications and
associated infrastructure.
Close working relationship and communication regarding issues between both
business and IT, including working with colleagues from 1st level support,
2nd level and 3rd level support and corresponding team from infrastructure

You offer:

Previous experience of providing support within a high pressure financial
environment
Good experience of Front / Mid / Back Office applications
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows system administration, Oracle or
Sybase databases and SQL
Experience in ITIL Service Desk / Incident Management
High self-motivation, prioritisation, organizational and problem solving
skills
Capability of working independently with limited supervision
Ability to communicate effectively in English with trading, support staff and
management
