    Approximately 70% of ADB's workforce is dedicated to engineering; developing products
    across all the digital television technology platforms including cable, Internet
    Protocol
    (IP), satellite and terrestrial. The company is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland

    Research and Development facilities in Zielona Gora, Poland and Kharkov, Ukraine, and
    Operations division in Taipei, Taiwan. ADB has local representation in Australia,

    is
    currently seeking:

    SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR EASTERN EUROPE
    Reports To: Vice President New Business Development

    Responsibilities:
    o To identify specific target areas to chase that have a 'reasonable' chance of
    success.
    o To research those target areas to identify specific targets to chase (account and
    contact names and details)
    o To personally call and chase identified opportunities.
    o To create material to send out to less hopeful accounts & contacts (direct
    marketing
    campaigns) and to manage the direct marketing activity to those accounts.
    o To identify interest within target accounts.
    o To drive/obtain approval to make specific offers.
    o To develop opportunities through to final sale.
    o To close the deals and negotiate contracts based on standard CCU contracts (always
    subject to final approval of ADB per ADB signoff rules incorporated in the CSS
    process or
    otherwise)
    o Driving and managing commercial and marketing activities in the region & segment.
    o Achieve new contracts in new countries.
    o Visits to the areas in order to keep an up to date knowledge of the market
    situation and
    to perform necessary tasks.
    o Coordination of combined projects with other companies, or partners.
    o Supply input of market trends and developments and requirements to Marketing.
    o Conceiving and implementing market entry and development strategies.
    o Defining together with other parts of CCBU the approach strategy for service
    engagements.
    o Contract and agreement negotiations for supply projects and key accounts.
    o Sustaining and enhancing position of company in existing accounts with new and
    follow-on
    contracts.
    o Evaluating potential and entering new markets with strategic successes and
    o Promising positioning.
    o Enhancing market coverage and improved positioning.
    o Where required by market conditions, building up the agent/distributor/partner
    network
    o Cooperate with and assist colleagues in other segments to advance business.
    o Initiating business developments ideas, such as acquisitions, or joint venture
    endeavours and commercial/Technology alliances with other manufacturers or service
    providers.

    Requirements:
    o Experience and track record of success in sales.
    o Strong knowledge of the European Operator marketplace.
    o Ability to co-operate in a group of people.
    o Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives
    without
    supervision.
    o Skill to work with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
    o Skill to speak Polish, German and English language fluently.
    o Creative thinking "outside the box ideas".
    o Good working knowledge of deal financials.
    o Experience of negotiating customer contracts.
    o Ability to work within European Union.
