help improve systems' performance.

We are looking for the individual who has already led a team and that
has specialized in performance engineering of applications and systems
to be responsible for leading the performance aspects of the company
product. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the design;
implementation and execution of performance, scalability and
resiliency testing to ensure that the product meets its performance
criteria. The candidate will be working closely with marketing
specialists, product managers and software engineers to evolve the
strategy of selling the performance tuning services for the company
product.


Essential Position Responsibilities:
1. Performance & Benchmark testing of the FlexNet product
? Prepare and execute performance and stress tests to determine the
capabilities of the end-to-end systems and application under different
load patterns conditions
? Develop a strong understanding of application architecture and
customer usage profiles
? Assist in making hardware recommendations for specific architectures
? Apply diagnostic tools to identify system bottlenecks in code and/or
hardware configuration
? Debug complex service incidents, customer setups, performance
issues, and availability issues upon request
? Research and analyze new performance testing methodologies and tools

2. Performance Tuning Services' process definition
? Work with Product Management and Marketing Team to develop awareness
for Performance Tuning Service
? Work with Marketing, Services, Support and Sales Team on one
strategy as regards timing and selling of Performance Tuning Services
? Provide expert feedback and direction to Support, Services and PD&R
with regards to performance optimization and best practices
? Reports detailed and aggregated results on all projects and daily
responsibilities, define and track metrics related to effort,
finances, product performance, etc.

3. Performance tuning services for the company product to Apriso
customers
? Diagnose and analyze systems to discern performance problems,
identify and implement improvements
? Prepare engagement offers and pricing
? Report results of performance analysis and tuning to customers

Essential Position Requirements:
o Ability to diagnose and analyze distributed systems (Infrastructure
and application) performance
o Expertise in diagnosing and analyzing performance of Database
Servers
o .Net Application code reading and profiling
o Good SQL skills (coding and code optimization)
o Good skills in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and
Relational Databases: Oracle, MS SQL (maintenance and trouble
shooting)
o Knowledge of resource usage monitoring for physical and virtual
servers
o Knowledge of WEB Server/Browser technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS,
etc.)
o Proven experience with Data Warehouse Intelligence and Data
Integration systems (SSAS, SSIS) and OLAP cubes (design, lifecycle and
validation)
o Understanding of networking concepts of (DNS, TCP, HTTP etc.)
o Excellent communication skills and high standard of ethics - the
ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives,
managers, subject matter experts and clients is a must
o Ability to prioritize tasks and to work effectively under pressure
o Independence, responsibility, and diligence
o Must have excellent analytical, and problem solving skills
o Ability to travel for business purposes (30-60%)

Education:
o Master's degree in the related field, preferably Computer Science or
Engineering with strong course work in applications' performance and
tuning
o Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
