An excellent opportunity in now available in Luxembourg for a
Microsoft Systems Engineer (Windows and Messaging).

Candidates must be able to prove the following skills and experience:

o A University degree is mandatory, preferably in Information
Technology or a related discipline.
o Excellent knowledge of English or French and a good knowledge of the
other
o Expert knowledge of and good proven experience of working with
Windows Systems Administration and IT Systems Management
o Good professional experience with implementing, administering and
troubleshooting Windows clusters and Windows load balancing
The following items are considered an advantage:
o Good understanding of networking
o Relevant professional certifications, in particular with messaging
specialisation.
o Additional experience in administering virtual environments
(VMWare), UNIX, Linux or storage systems
o Advanced knowledge of messaging (Exchange 2007), collaboration and
communication software packages (SharePoint, OCS), including design,
implementation, configuration, administration and support
o Good knowledge of infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS and LDAP
o Knowledge of monitoring, reporting and system management tools
(SCOM)
o Substantial understanding of IT Security practices
o Project Management, analytical and problem solving skills
o Good at presenting information and writing technical reports
o A disciplined approach to organising work and priorities,
documenting work and according to deadlines

Candidates will have the following tasks:

o Designing and implementing, as well as handling the evolution,
management, support and maintenance of the clients Windows based
infrastructure.
o Designing and implementing, as well as handling the evolution,
management, support and maintenance of the clients messaging and
collaborations systems.
o Manage contracts and external consultants related to his/her area of
responsibility.
