with over fifty years of experience, we are looking for a:

***** Customs Coordinator for Marine Transport
*****



***** Responsibilities:

* Daily monitoring and mitigation of the availability of export
declarations done in plants; Chasing compound for uploading
correct statuses
* Daily follow-up of ageing of customs cleared cars; ensure the units
are delivered out of EU before the export customs clearance
expires
* Daily monitoring of the vessel schedule and preparing all necessary
information for customs purposes (export from EU; import to EU)
* Coordination of creating the final loading lists together with port
coordinator
* Checking the data availability in OBT and proper communication
between systems; warn coordinators to chase the logistic providers
to provide needed data in OBT
* Being in touch with customs teams to ensure the export declarations
are provided on time; making sure that all units are cleared
before the loading of the vessel
* Informing the customs team of the vessel's arrivals and providing
all necessary documentation from the LPs to ensure the proper
import customs procedure
* Making sure that all vehicles are correctly cleared for import
before they are loaded by distribution team
* Tracking the export declarations and assigning the MRN numbers to
units
* Being first point of contact in case of customs problems


***** Position requirements:

* Very good knowledge of English (at least B2+)
* Experience in working on the similar position
* Experience in:
** marine export and import (UE)
** sea freight forwarding
** customs clearance
** preparation of the relevant documents
* Skills in organization, planning and risk prevention
* Knowledge of:
** TMS type systems
** MS Office (especially Excel)
