For our client we are looking for IP/TCP Network Engineers to join our
team
in the period 06.2011 - 12.2011 or even longer in Warszawa or Wrocław.



Role Description:

The key purpose of the role is to carry out the provisioning,
configuration and troubleshooting of PE and CPE routers. A key
responsibility of the role is the validation and loading of standard
and customized routing solutions into both CPE and PE routers on
Customer next generation MPLS network. In addition to the loading of
the standard and customized routing configurations the IP Network
Engineer will be responsible for the reconfigurations of CPE & PE
routers in co-operation with the Customer and other ALU members.



Key Accountabilities:

* Complete understanding of router provisioning in an IP
telecommunications network environment
* Delivery of the router provisioning, configuration and testing
procedures
* Work with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed
and ready for testing
* Delivery of successful router provisioning on a per migration
basis to allocated time slots
* Working with Router suppliers to ensure the routers are
delivered to site and where required installed
* Adherence to all router security access policies and procedures


Main areas of responsibility:

* Creation of the router provisioning procedures for access
circuits and CPE/PE routers
* Managing the router suppliers to ensure that all routers are
supplied to site with base configuration installed by required by date
* Working with customer design engineers when required to carry
out router
* Configuration changes
* Provision of router provisioning reports
* Meeting the router provisioning and configuration targets to
enable migration targets with customer


Your Credentials:

* Ability to perform to a consistently high level under pressure
* Good understanding of router configurations in an IP network
environment
* Experience of working in a virtual team environment
* Have a good understanding of network migration testing
procedures
* Experience of service provider and enterprise operational
structures and processes


Key Skills:

* The ideal candidate would be Cisco CCNP/CCIP qualified
* 2+ years working experience,
* Very good knowledge of IP/TCP/MPLS (for IP/MPLS)
* Strong IP routers configuration and trouble shooting skills
* Excellent communication skills verbal & written
* Good analytical skills


Key Experiences:

* Track record of working in a telecommunications network
provisioning environment
* Experienced in the use of router configuration toolsets
* Proven track record of provisioning and configuration of CPE &
PE routers in a mission critical environment
* Experienced in the management of suppliers on a global basis
* Good track record of meeting targets in a high pressure
environment
* Telecommunications and / or IT network migration experience
