Geologist - Stavanger, Norway

We are looking for a Geologist for our Norwegian client. This is a
permanent position for an international company based in Stavanger, Norway.

The Geologist will first of all work with fields already in operation,
mostly old fields/wells, monitoring of wells.

Candidates will be required to apply a broad range of development
geoscience skills, both independently and as part of the
multi-disciplinary team. Tasks will involve interpretation of basin play
types, identification and justification of appraisal drilling prospects
utilizing reservoir modeling and the interpretation of well performance.

Salary:

A well-paid job - the salary will be negotiated between the company and
the candidate.

Requirements:

The candidates need geo experience with modeling and development,
experience with salt tectonics, site/area strategy, experiences with
Petrel and RMS. He/she must like the practical part of being a
geologist. The candidate should also be capable of planning and
executing field work Planning of the wells.

It can be an advantage with experience in North Sea, but not a must. You
need to have at least 5 years of experience.
