DataBase Administrator / Łódź

For our client we are looking for DataBase Administrator to join our
team
in the period 06.2011 - 12.2011 in Łódź.


Job description:

* Managing and monitoring sql servers performance
* Setup new database on request
* Database content migration between releases of new database
schema
* Manage user accounts. Managing of access rights to databases.
Managing of access rights to sql server hosts using Windows accounts
and remote desktop connections
* Apply provided SQL scripts
* Manage database backups via Maintenance plan. Unified backup
plans and templates for all sql servers
* Possible database level fine tunning
* Server Maintenance activities eg. sql Server upgrades , patches.
* Additional extraordinary accountabilities: Automate database
maintenance (TFS builds)

Required competences:

* Advance experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008R1/2008R2
* Experience in designing of relational databases
* T-SQL
* Experience in desining datawarehouse solutions, reporting in
OLTP,OLAP technologies is a plus
* Experience in MS Analysis Services 2005, MS Integration Service
2005, MS Reporting Services 2005 is a plus
* Business work experience and knowledge with technical background
is preferred (Engineering)
* Communication skill sets, ability to transfer knowledge
* Facilitation and consensus building skills
* Fluent spoken and written English
