Opis stanowiska:

The Software Engineer is responsible for the Design, Development and
Integration of Acision Products. The Software Engineer actively
participates in Product development and maintenance lifecycle, and
also ensures that deliverables are produced according to Acision
quality standards and the best practices.

Working in a multinational environment, our Software Engineers combine
a strong technical expertise with professional analysis and design
skills. The informal work environment encourages sharing and
development of innovative technologies and knowledge between
Engineers.


Zakres obowiązków:

* Cooperation on User/System Requirements preparation.
* Cooperation on Global and Detailed design activities.
* Implementation of new Product features and fixing of reported
problems.
* Preparation and execution of unit tests and component integration
tests.
* Participate in deliverables review.
* Occasionally provide support on site.
* Prepare release notes and provide support to Technical Writer.



Wymagania:

Required skills:

* University Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or other
technical discipline.
* Working knowledge of English.
* Good knowledge of the C/C++ programming language, understanding of
the fundamentals of the language, object oriented mind.
* Experience with development in Unix/Linux environment.
* Knowledge of SQL basics (possibly also experience with database API
used from C/C++).
* Knowledge in shell scripting.

Key skills/competencies:

* Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, ...).
* Experience with C++ design.
* Practice with Java, Corba technologies.
* Modern Design technologies including UML.
* Practice in multithread programming, knowledge of STL.
* Experience with a version control system.
* Experience with Customer Care Billing Systems.
