GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for analyzing business processes and program
requirements.
Subsequently for specifying, designing, developing, supporting and
maintaining any software programs, reports and forms relative to
these
business applications. Provide second tier support for user problem
resolution.
Recommendations and activities are subject to a strict approval
framework consistent with Corporate and division policies and
procedures. Significant program changes are subject to an
appropriate
cost benefit analysis. Where appropriate, responsible for user
training and support. Coordinate with other IT functions and travel
to operating locations on an as needed basis.
Will also work on other Eastern Europe Implementations eg Czech,
Romania etc but will be based in our office in Poland. Approx. 20 %
of
the work time he or she will travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned:
- System configuration Oracle Financials
- User Training Oracle Financials
- Implementation support
- Testing
- Work with users and the department manager to:
- Analyze business processes, identify and propose new business
processes or program changes to address specific requirements.
- Create appropriate specification documents including time
and
cost estimates.
- Identify, analyze, design and develop program changes
consistent with division and Corporate standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve errors or problems with existing
programs.
- Identify, resolve or improve on systems' performance.
- Specify reporting requirements.
- Specify form requirements.
- Develop supporting flowcharts, tables, diagrams, formulas
and methods for solving business problems, incorporating
infrastructure requirements and interfaces
- Research alternative business solutions and, where
appropriate, document cost, recommend, present and justify such
alternatives.
- Prepare and update necessary documentation and assist in
developing and maintaining system documentation.
- Provide technical expertise to the users in solving day-to-
day issues.
- Provide training to the users, when appropriate.
- Ensures all programmer/analyst related activities comply
with the global compliance standards and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Demonstrate specific technical skills in the area of the application
and additional experience in related information systems, general
database development and administration. Demonstrate a strong
appreciation of related IT hardware and infrastructure services and a
personal proactive approach to maintaining skills to a current level.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential and an ability to
communicate effectively with non IT personnel in problem resolution
and training.
EXPERIENCE
4-6 years on the similar position, by implementation Oracle and then
eventual supporting the system
EDUCATION:
Language skills: Polish native and English fluent
certified Oracle consultant required
deep knowledge in the Finance and Supply chain part of Oracle
