Onsite Supervisor - Labour Coordinator, UK

Our Client is a UK-based high class provider of skilled and unskilled
labour to the food industry. Due to the rapid growth our business
requires an onsite supervisor/labour coordinator to manage an onsite
operation based in East Anglia. The role will be supervising up to
40-100 workers on a daily basis and managing the day to HR function of
these workers. Previous experience in managing agency labour and
clients' expectations will be of benefit - however not essential.
An ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, think on their
feet and problem solve using their own initiative. Building
relationships with key individuals and maintaining the company standards
is a must to succeed in this role.
Day to day activities will include
- Recruitment/interviewing
- Liaising with workers on a daily basis
- Checking in/out various shifts
- Reporting absenteeism
- Problem solving
- Liaising with clients
- Attending production meetings
- Updating HR files and paper work
- Preparing WRS forms for candidates
- Data input
- Inducing new workers
- Pickups of new arrivals
- Translating of documents from English to Polish
- 24 hour call

The role requires an individual to be a great communicator and have an
excellent manner with clients. Organisational skills and problem solving
are also key attributes along with the ability to think on your feet.
Having your own car is a benefit.
